On the 12th, Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, met with a delegation of leaders of the Communist Party of Cuba Municipal Committee led by Martinez, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and the first secretary of the Atmisa Provincial Committee, in Beijing. Li Xi stated that socialist countries led by the Communist Party in ancient times shared common ideals and beliefs. Li Xi also introduced the Communist Party of China's implementation of party discipline learning and education, as well as the concentrated rectification of misconduct and corruption issues around the masses. Martinez expressed that the Communist Party of Cuba appreciates China's firm support and valuable assistance in the cause of justice in Cuba.
