Even today, many ancient buildings still stand vividly in cities and rural areas, as well as in the streets and thoroughfares; Some ancient buildings have been rebuilt in contemporary times, becoming distinct cultural landmarks. Whether tall and magnificent, exquisite and unparalleled, or simple and elegant... More and more young people are turning their attention to these historical and cultural heritage sites, presenting ancient architecture through various artistic means, making historical buildings shine with youthful colors. Why can ancient buildings that are sagging old attract the attention of young people? Undoubtedly, ancient architecture has a breathtaking beauty. Architecture is essentially the spatial carrier of life, and the beauty of architecture is the beauty of life, which is an organic combination of various art categories. Through the ancient buildings, we can see the technical beauty of the building structure, the color and line beauty of the painted railings, the calligraphy beauty of the plaques and couplets, the shape beauty of the stone carvings... All of these, the integrated architectural beauty transcends time and space, arousing empathy between the hearts of ancient and modern times. Architecture, as a carrier of life, has gone through the storms of time and become a witness and symbol of civilization. The Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan has been repeatedly abandoned and revitalized, but climbing up the tower and facing the river to sing the nostalgia of "the Yellow Crane is gone and never returns" remains the same throughout history; Shaoxing Lanting has undergone several renovations, but it seems that one can sit on the stone and have a conversation with Wang Xizhi. Many ancient buildings are fascinating not only because of the buildings themselves, but also because they integrate with landscapes, historical facts, poetry, paintings, folk customs, emotions, etc., becoming the carrier and crystallization of the long-standing Chinese culture. Therefore, they also have the attraction and vitality accompanying the pulse of civilization. At present, the era of inheriting and developing excellent traditional Chinese culture also calls for young people to pay attention to and love ancient architecture, injecting vitality into the cause of ancient architecture. It can be said that the value of ancient architecture lies not only in its individual buildings, but also in the overall integration of architectural space, historical accumulation, and cultural creation. When tourists visit famous mountains and rivers, admire the restored ancient buildings, feel the cultural heritage that has been passed down for thousands of years, and feel proud of the long river of civilization. For the exploration, recognition, and activation of the value of ancient architecture, there can also be a broader space in the future, from depicting individual buildings as artifacts to promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture carried by the living environment. Beautiful and distinctive ancient buildings adorn the beautiful rivers and mountains of our motherland, waiting for us to explore and discover. It inspires our yearning and pride in the long-standing historical and cultural heritage, and ignites our inspiration and passion for creating contemporary culture.
