On June 4th, the second China Brazil Forum on Poverty Reduction and Rural Revitalization was held in Beijing. Liu Jianchao, Minister of External Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Diaz, Minister of Social Development of Brazil, Tezela, Minister of Rural Development of Brazil, and more than 100 representatives from the relevant agricultural fields of both governments, local governments, universities, etc. attended the meeting. China is willing to work together with Pakistan to implement the consensus of the two heads of state, strengthen the docking of development strategies, promote practical cooperation in various fields, strengthen inter party exchanges, deepen the exchange of experiences in poverty reduction and rural revitalization, and continuously improve the well-being of the people. The Pakistani side expressed its hope to further exchange experiences in poverty reduction and rural development with China through this forum, tap into the potential of agricultural cooperation, promote agricultural scientific and technological innovation, work together to address common challenges in areas such as climate change and food security, and promote greater development of Pakistan China relations.
