We must make good use of the "Great Ideological and Political Course" and combine it with reality. Ten departments including the Ministry of Education and the Central Propaganda Department have also issued a notice on the work plan for comprehensively promoting the construction of "ideological and political courses". From ideological and political courses to "large-scale ideological and political courses", there is only a one word difference on the surface, but in essence, it is a renewal of the concept of running ideological and political courses well, a broadening of horizons, and a further expansion of the pattern. The "Great Ideological and Political Course" is a teaching innovation practice activity that combines campus small classrooms with the reality of the big society. The "Great" of the "Great Ideological and Political Course" lies in having a broad mind of the "great of the country", coordinating the domestic and international situations, leading students to correctly understand the world and China's development trend in the great changes of the times through learning and thinking about history and reality. The "Great Ideological and Political Course" should be based on the overall situation. Taking moral education as the foundation, ideal and belief education as the core, and socialist core values as the guide, we consciously shoulder the mission of raising the flag, gathering the hearts of the people, cultivating new talents, promoting culture, and showcasing our image. Guide students to have a correct understanding of the development trend of the world and China, and continuously enhance their ambition, backbone, and confidence to become Chinese people. Guide students to establish correct positions, viewpoints, and methods for observing and grasping things, inherit the great national spirit, continue the red bloodline, and elevate the style of the times, striving to write a new chapter of the times. The "Great Ideological and Political Course" should cultivate a great personality. The greatness of personality lies in the greatness of literacy, which is manifested in three aspects: knowledge, ability, and thought. Knowledge includes books with words (scientific and cultural knowledge, professional skills) and books without words (life experience, social knowledge), abilities include expression and communication, teamwork, organization and coordination, practical operation, innovative consciousness, etc. Ideas include cultural literacy, legal awareness, moral cultivation, patriotism, etc. To cultivate a strong personality, universities need to combine the characteristics of the youth era, conform to the growth laws of top talents, and continuously enhance the scientific literacy and humanistic heritage of college students. The "Great Ideological and Political Course" aims to cultivate great teachers. To cultivate great teachers, one is to build a strong team of ideological and political education teachers. Guide ideological and political education teachers to be the unity of "economic teachers" and "human teachers", firmly adhere to the ideal belief of "having a great self in the heart and sincerely serving the country", and establish the ambition and aspiration of "cultivating the teaching profession and strengthening the country with me". Actively explore innovative paths for ideological and political education in universities in the era of artificial intelligence, and cultivate composite ideological and political teachers who not only master modern technological knowledge but also possess scientific ideological and political education concepts and methods. The second is to create a group of great masters in ideological and political education for all employees. Vigorously promote the spirit of educators and scientists, and fully leverage the exemplary role of academicians and other top scientists. Widely mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of teachers and staff to participate in ideological and political theory education, enhance the professional competence of party affairs, administration, counselors, and other teams, and establish spiritual benchmarks. The third is to implement a system of specially appointed professors and part-time teachers for ideological and political courses. A long-term mechanism has been formed for advanced representatives such as heroes, model worker, great country craftsmen, and interpreters and volunteers in red bases such as revolutionary memorial halls, party history halls, martyrs' cemeteries to regularly participate in ideological and political teaching in colleges and universities. Great ideological and political courses should make good use of big resources. The history of the Party is the most vivid and convincing textbook. The "Great Ideological and Political Course" should gather a great collective force. The "Great Ideological and Political Course" is a major social course and a systematic project. Relying solely on schools is far from enough, and it requires the participation of all aspects of society. It is necessary to open the door and offer ideological and political courses. At the school level, a clear list of moral education subjects and responsibilities should be established, and a scenario of ideological and political education should be constructed from "points" to "lines", gathering "surfaces" into "bodies", and integrating "surfaces" and "surfaces" into multiple "bodies". The guiding, collaborative, and supportive role of various subjects in ideological and political courses should be effectively played in the scene and chain, achieving the educational effect of enlightening and nourishing the mind in a subtle and silent way. The "Great Ideological and Political Course" needs to build a large system. On the one hand, strengthen the comprehensive leadership of the Party over ideological and political work. Further improve the leadership functions and working mechanisms of the leadership group for ideological and political work in universities, and fully leverage its overall coordination function. Establish a work responsibility system of unified leadership by the Party Committee and joint management by the Party and government. The secretaries of grassroots party organizations, heads of departments and administrative departments, professional teachers, Communist Youth League cadres, and counselors should all assume important responsibilities in ideological and political work. On the other hand, through scientific and effective institutional arrangements, political, organizational, and atmosphere guarantees are provided for the construction of the "Great Ideological and Political Course". Actively explore the linkage mechanism between teaching, scientific research, and management work and the work pattern of the "Great Ideological and Political Course", strengthen the process and operability of the system, strengthen the publicity and information disclosure of the system, and establish a sound system for operating the system. Currently, China's ideological and political education has entered a new stage of overall quality improvement and connotation development. Standing at a new historical starting point, colleges and universities should take the construction of "big ideological and political courses" as a starting point, continue to promote the high-quality development of ideological and political courses and ideological and political education, build a spiritual cornerstone for young college students, consolidate the foundation of life, cultivate new people for the era of Chinese path to modernization, and write a new chapter of forging spirit and educating people.
