It is reported that the theme of this year's Cultural and Natural Heritage Day is "Protecting Cultural Relics and Inheriting Civilization", and the main city event will be held on June 8th in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. The event was hosted by the National Cutural Heritage Administration and the People's Government of Liaoning Province, and undertaken by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Liaoning Province, the Bureau of Cultural Heritage of Liaoning Province, and the People's Government of Shenyang City. The main theme of the home city event will be focused on, and a series of promotional displays, selection recommendations, and related releases will be conducted. Holding the opening ceremony of the main city event, the theme forum of "Protecting Cultural Relics, Inheriting Civilization", and the 4th Cultural Relics Science and Technology Innovation Forum. We will launch a multimedia live broadcast event titled "Chinese Stories in the Beautiful Chinese Cultural Heritage Site", a cloud classroom on "Our Chinese Civilization", a series of micro videos on "Classical Chinese Stories: Dialogue Across Time and Space", a series of lectures on "Sino foreign Joint Archaeology" in the fourth season of "Chinese Archaeology Lecture Hall", and foreign language journals such as "Cultural Relics" magazine to showcase and disseminate high-quality works. Inviting grassroots cultural and museum workers to give keynote speeches, announcing the selection and promotion list of high-quality development cases for cultural relics in 2023, the 6th "Most Beautiful Cultural Relics Safety Guardian" promotion list, and the list of high-quality promotion projects for Chinese cultural relics new media communication in 2024. In addition, the theme exhibition of "The Light of Civilization - Hongshan · Liangzhu and Chinese Civilization" co sponsored by the National Cutural Heritage Administration and the People's Government of Liaoning Province will also be opened, and a series of supporting activities will also be held, such as the online exhibition of "Danqing Memory Watching Home - Chinese Cultural Heritage Art Exhibition", and the exhibition activity of "Telling Good Cultural Heritage Stories" practice direction of the National Youth Cultural Heritage Knowledge Contest. As the first host city event for the Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, Liaoning Province has carefully organized and actively prepared to launch nearly 300 cultural and museum activities benefiting the people, and established the Hongshan Cultural Research Institute. The Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Government have also organized ten major supporting characteristic activities for the host city, including public welfare lectures, open week for the benefit of the people, archaeological open day, cultural relic repair observation, short video competitions, volunteer recruitment, and other forms. The 4th Cultural Relics Science and Technology Innovation Forum will arrange 16 academic presentations, focusing on exchanging the phased research results of the key special project of the National Key R&D Program "Cultural Science and Technology and Modern Service Industry", as well as the scientific and technological innovation achievements in cultural relics protection, archaeological scientific research, resource management, risk prevention and control, etc. It is understood that during the period of cultural and natural heritage, under the guidance of the National Cutural Heritage Administration, more than 7300 related activities were organized by cultural and museum institutions nationwide, including more than 3400 cultural relics services for the benefit of the people.
