The 10th Ministerial Conference of the China Arab States Cooperation Forum was held in Beijing on the 30th. Wang Yi, member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of Foreign Affairs, co chaired with the Chairman of the Arab side and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mauritania, Marzuk. Arab foreign ministers, representatives, etc. attended. Both sides should effectively implement the consensus of the Chinese and Arab heads of state and the results of this meeting, further enhance strategic mutual trust, and firmly support each other's core interests; Further deepen pragmatic cooperation and promote higher levels of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes; Further strengthen international cooperation and jointly safeguard the correct direction of global governance; Further strengthen the construction of the forum and help open up a bright future for the China Arab community with a shared future. The attending parties expressed that both Afghanistan and China share common principles, common concepts, and common propositions. The conference showcased the flags of Arab countries and the Arab League sent to the Chinese space station, which will be gifted to the Arab side after the conference, becoming a permanent commemoration of China Arab friendship that transcends time and space. The conference issued three outcome documents: the Beijing Declaration, the Action Plan for the China Arab Cooperation Forum from 2024 to 2026, and the Joint Statement between China and Arab Countries on the Palestinian Question. During the meeting, China also signed multiple bilateral and multilateral cooperation documents with participating countries and the Arab League Secretariat. (Lai Xin She)
