"Power fingerprint" can detect device hazards in one second

Identify and warn of hazardous electrical appliances and safety hazards, and use black technology to achieve proactive firefighting and pre prevention of electrical fires. This "power fingerprint" technology has been applied in the electrical fire warning and electricity safety monitoring of the famous scenic spot Xijiang Miao Village in Guizhou. Recently, this technology has passed the review of the China Electrotechnical Society. Experts such as Li Li, academician of the CAE Member, unanimously agreed that the "power fingerprint" technology is at the international leading level on the whole. Guizhou has the largest number of traditional wooden structure villages in the country. In the past, fires often occurred in these traditional villages due to electricity issues. Therefore, the importance of fire protection for these traditional villages is self-evident. In order to eliminate potential safety hazards in electricity use, Southern Power Grid Guizhou Electric Power Research Institute has taken the initiative to assume social responsibility for electrical fire prevention, leading the research on "power fingerprint" technology to achieve comprehensive perception and multi business integration of distribution and consumption equipment. Based on artificial intelligence and electrical quantity feature recognition technology, "power fingerprint" only needs to replace traditional air switches and sockets, which can timely and accurately detect and control dangerous electrical equipment, dangerous electrical behavior, and dangerous electrical events before a fire occurs. It achieves one second identification of equipment type and hidden dangers, one hour identification of equipment parameters, and one week identification of electrical behavior. This technology not only improves the level of social security electricity consumption, but also automatically identifies and aggregates the adjustable capabilities of equipment, making every household a virtual power plant, deeply interacting with the power grid, and making it possible to promote the consumption of new energy. Tan Zhukui, Deputy General Manager of Guizhou Electric Power Research Institute of Southern Power Grid, stated that in order to solve the problems of precise perception and deep cognition in smart electricity consumption, Southern Power Grid Guizhou Power Grid Company has pioneered the concept, method, and technical standard system of "power fingerprint", and developed an "perception cognition control" intelligent software and hardware platform based on the "power fingerprint" system. It has achieved deep application in smart electricity consumption scenarios such as safe electricity consumption, orderly electricity consumption, and energy conservation, and has achieved good economic and social benefits.
