Focusing on Legal Education and Research in the Era of Artificial Intelligence, China University of Political Science and Law Holds the Second World Forum of Jurists

Recently, the second World Forum of Jurists, hosted by China University of Political Science and Law, was held in Beijing. The forum, themed "Legal Education and Research in the Era of Artificial Intelligence," was attended by 120 domestic and foreign experts from around the world, including renowned university presidents, law school deans, renowned scholars, and international organization experts. It is reported that this forum will be held offline, divided into main forums and 6 parallel forums. The forum closely follows the forefront of the times, gathers global wisdom, and explores the impact of artificial intelligence development on legal education and research. In the main forum segment, 13 guests from 10 countries including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Canada, Brazil, Australia, and Japan gave speeches on legal education and research in the era of artificial intelligence. Experts present unanimously believe that the development of artificial intelligence has brought unprecedented opportunities for legal education and research, but it has also brought many challenges. The legal community must strengthen international cooperation and exchanges to jointly address the new situations and problems brought about by artificial intelligence. The six parallel forums held in the afternoon focused on topics such as "Artificial Intelligence and Legal Theory Update", "Legal Practice and Legal Education and Research", "International Order Construction and Legal Education and Research", "Global Perspective of Criminal Justice Reform", "Chinese Legal Civilization and Legal Education and Research", "Challenges, Innovations and Future of Legal Education", and engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions. Based on cutting-edge issues, we exchanged and learned from each other to jointly promote the progress of world law. It is understood that the World Forum of Jurists is committed to building a platform for legal scholars from around the world to exchange ideas, promote innovation in cutting-edge theories of legal education, and jointly contribute academic strength to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
