On May 21st, Norwegian Labour Party Chairman and Government Prime Minister Steller met with Shi Taifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, in Oslo. He said that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China Norway relations have continued to develop steadily. China appreciates Norway's adherence to the One China policy and adherence to a pragmatic and friendly policy towards China. The CPC is willing to strengthen inter party exchanges with Norway's major political parties, including the Labor Party, to enhance mutual understanding and trust and consolidate the political foundation of bilateral relations. He said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations 70 years ago, the relationship between Norway and China has maintained a positive development momentum, and cooperation in various fields has yielded fruitful results. The Norwegian side highly praises China's outstanding development achievements and firmly adheres to the One China policy. It is willing to continue to deepen exchanges and exchanges between the government, political parties, and the people, deepen cooperation in areas such as green transformation and climate change, strengthen communication and dialogue on international and regional issues, and promote the continuous development of bilateral relations. At the invitation of the Norwegian government, Shi Taifeng led a Chinese Communist Party delegation to visit Norway from May 18th to 21st.
