On May 17th, the Committee of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of the Communist Party of China held an expanded meeting of all members to summarize the party building work of the highest procuratorate in recent years. In combination with promoting the special supervision and rectification of party building by the central and state organs, arrangements and deployments were made to further guide the high-quality development of procuratorial work through high-quality party building in organs. Teng Jiguo, a member of the Party Group of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, Director of the Political Department, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the government, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Teng Jiguo pointed out that in the face of the practical needs of coordinating high-quality development and high-level security, as well as the higher expectations of the people for fairness and justice, the procuratorial organs have a heavier responsibility to maintain stability, promote development, protect people's livelihoods, and ensure good governance on the track of the rule of law. The key to accelerating the modernization of procuratorial work lies in the Party and the people, and must rely on the Party organizations and party members and cadres at all levels of the organs to seek truth, pragmatism, and practical work. Teng Jiguo emphasized that party organizations and party members at all levels of government agencies should focus on strengthening the awareness of the "first front", further strengthen the construction of political organs, and strive to achieve positive energy, acceleration, and good results in implementing the "first mile" of the Party Central Committee's decision-making and deployment; We should focus on enhancing the organizational strength of party organizations, further consolidating the grassroots foundation, and continuously building "four strong" party branches; We should focus on carrying out good Party discipline learning and education, comprehensively promote management and supervision, and further strengthen the rectification of conduct and discipline; We should focus on playing the role of assessment and supervision, improve the assessment and evaluation mechanism, strictly enforce the system, and further strengthen the main responsibility of party building in government agencies; We must solidly promote the special supervision and rectification work of the Party building of the central and state organs, take multiple measures to consolidate the responsibility of rectification, and promote the Party building work of organs to a new level.
