My Embassy in the United States holds an offline story sharing event for "My China Album"

The Chinese Embassy in the United States recently held the 5th "My China Album" award ceremony and offline story sharing activity. Chinese Ambassador to the United States, Xie Feng, delivered a speech at the event, stating that China and the United States should tighten the bonds between their people, enhance communication between people, and inject warmth and momentum into their relationship. The "My China Album" event is jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the United States. Xie Feng stated that over the past year, the event has collected over 100 touching stories of friendship between the Chinese and American peoples, which have been compiled into this thick "China album". He said that China and the United States should have a correct understanding of each other and be friends rather than opponents. We must inherit the friendship between China and the United States and strengthen the power of youth. The future of China US relations lies in youth. The friendly coexistence of the younger generation brings hope to the relationship between China and the United States. On May 16th, in Washington, D.C., Iowa, friends Luca Belong (second from right) and others shared their stories with China at the "My China Album" award ceremony. Xinhua News Agency reporter Liu Jie held an award ceremony and shared stories on three themes: "Old Friends," "Giant Panda and Wildlife Conservation," and "Chinese Culture.". 103 year old Flying Tigers veteran Harry Moyer, Iowa friends Luca Belong, Gary Dvorchek and Dan Stein, and "Guling Friend" Mu Yanling and other guests shared their stories and friendship with China. The video and photos of "My China Album" will be played in a loop at the event site to attract guests to stop and watch. Everyone expressed their willingness to continue being the creators and disseminators of the story of China US friendship, with innovative and diverse forms of activities and moving themes.
