The Inner Mongolia Ancient Mural Fine Exhibition, which combines history and art, as well as protection and research, is planned and launched by six museums and mural cultural relics protection departments in the Inner Mongolia Museum's joint area. It showcases 50 murals and more than 10 cultural relics. Zheng Chengyan, Vice President of Inner Mongolia Museum, said that Inner Mongolia has a vast territory spanning the three major regions of Northeast, North China, and Northwest China. Since ancient times, it has been a hot land for communication, exchange, and integration among various ethnic groups. People of all ethnic groups have jointly created various cultural forms on this land, shaping a unique and inclusive cultural landscape of Northern Xinjiang. Inner Mongolia's ancient murals have a long history, diverse types, rich connotations, unique artistic styles, and exquisite painting techniques, making them an important element of Northern Xinjiang culture. Zhao Yaochao, who is studying cultural heritage at Inner Mongolia Normal University, is very interested in the Han Dynasty mural "Pastoral Painting". He sighed, "Seeing these murals, I feel the ancient ancestors' craftsmanship in art creation. These murals unearthed in ethnic areas can also see many 'figures' of Central Plains culture, which has given me a deeper understanding of the diversity and unity of Chinese civilization." The audience visited the mural exhibition. Inner Mongolia has abundant resources of the Great Wall, accounting for about one-third of the total Great Wall resources in the country. It has the widest spatial distribution, the most historical periods involved, the largest engineering scale, and the most diverse geographical distribution of the Great Wall cultural heritage in the country. The Inner Mongolia Museum has launched four parts of "The Great Wall and the Cultural Integration of the Great Wall and the Great Wall Area", including "The Great Wall Spans the Northern Xinjiang", "Military Town and Shuofang", "Jimi Puxia", and "He Shan Fu Culture". More than 100 pictures and charts are displayed, telling a historical tale of communication, exchange, and integration among various ethnic groups. "The exhibitions and cultural relics launched by the Inner Mongolia Museum have great educational significance. Each cultural relic tells the story of communication, exchange, and integration among different ethnic groups. Through visits, children can learn the meaning of the Chinese nation as a family. I often take my children to visit here," said Aruna, a resident of Hohhot. Online, the Inner Mongolia Museum showcases precious cultural relics accumulated over the years through three-dimensional digital technology, allowing visitors to understand Chinese culture without leaving their homes. In order to allow more young people to enter museums, Inner Mongolia Museum has also launched the "Walking Museum" youth brand education project, entering schools. At present, more than 260 courses have been formed in four major series: historical culture, folk customs in northern Xinjiang, natural technology, and artistic infection, with a total of more than 500 sessions and nearly 40000 students participating. "Museums have abundant cultural relics resources. Compared to school textbooks, physical objects participate in teaching, which can better resonate with students. Through the course content and interactive forms that students enjoy, cultural relics and history can be brought to life, and Chinese culture can be inherited, enhancing cultural confidence." Zheng Chengyan said. (Lai Xin She)
