The new qualitative productivity theory is the innovation and development of Marxist productivity theory, another major theoretical achievement of the modernization of Marxism in China, and the theoretical confirmation of Chinese path to modernization in the dimension of productivity development. The materialist view of history reveals the basic laws of human social development, pointing out that the development of productive forces is the fundamental driving force and ultimate determining force that determines social development. As an important category of contemporary Chinese Marxist theory, the new productive forces contain profound historical materialism basis. Marxism attaches great importance to the liberation and development of productive forces, and links science and technology with the development of productive forces.
