According to the Sixth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, on May 15th, the largest liquid rocket engine in Asia and China's first vertical high-altitude simulation test bench, developed by the 101st Institute of the Institute and invested in manned space engineering, successfully conducted ignition tests. The test bench engine has the ability to sustain high-altitude simulation tests for thousands of seconds in vacuum working environments below kilopascals. The successful completion of this ignition test marks the complete completion and testing capability of the test bench, filling the gap in the vertical high-altitude simulation test bench for liquid rocket engines in China. It will provide important test support conditions for the development of hydrogen oxygen engines for China's manned Long March 10 launch vehicle. The relevant designers introduced that the test bench has the ability to actively launch throughout the entire process, and the overall comprehensive indicators have reached the international advanced level. Specifically, by adopting advanced ultra ultra single stage injection technology, the injection capacity, efficiency, and reliability have been greatly improved, and the equipment scale and operational difficulty have been significantly reduced; Developed a multi machine parallel system for steam generators, which breaks through the high reliability torch ignition technology and the compression and pump pressure multimodal stable start technology. The system has redundant and real-time fault diagnosis functions, good working performance, and a wide range of application scenarios; Solved the problem of automatic engine thrust verification technology, which not only shortens the test preparation cycle, but also improves the accuracy of thrust verification by one order of magnitude. In addition, the test bench achieves real-time health diagnosis of the test system and fully digital management of the process through scaling test verification, digital simulation, and process reengineering, meeting the requirements of high-altitude simulation testing for model engines. The person in charge of the 101 Institute stated that in the future, the role of the test bench will be fully utilized, and the verification capability of liquid power tests will be continuously improved, making new and greater contributions to ensuring the timely implementation of China's manned lunar exploration project and supporting the construction of a strong aerospace country.
