On Monday, the Ministry of Finance announced the issuance arrangement of ultra long term special treasury bond. This morning (17th), the 30-year ultra long term special treasury bond will officially debut. According to the issuance arrangement, the first 30-year super long term special treasury bond are fixed rate interest bearing bonds with a total amount of 40 billion yuan. The coupon rate will be determined this morning through a competitive bidding process conducted by a consortium of 56 financial institutions. As for the principal and interest payment date, the interest of the current treasury bond will be calculated from May 20, 2024, and the interest will be paid semiannually. The interest payment date is May 20 and November 20 of each year, and the principal will be repaid and the last interest will be paid on May 20, 2054. The reporter learned from the Central Clearing Corporation that preparations have been made for the issuance of ultra long term special treasury bond. Ao Yifan, Chairman of China Bond Valuation Center, Director of the Central Clearing Corporation, said: As the first place for issuing super long term special treasury bond bonds this year, we closely monitored the government bond issuance system of the Ministry of Finance operated and maintained by the company, and comprehensively inspected the operation system involved. Simulate and verify the entire process of issuance business to ensure the smooth progress of issuance work.
