On the evening of the 15th, Huang Xuncai was sworn in as the fourth Prime Minister of Singapore at the Presidential Palace. After taking the oath of office, Huang Xuncai gave a speech saying that his team "will continue to boldly envision and consider the long run.". He said that Singapore hopes to maintain national interests and rights while maintaining friendly relations with all parties. Singapore values the central position of ASEAN and its efforts in promoting regional cooperation and integration. The new cabinet of Singapore was also sworn in that evening. Former Premier Lee Hsien Loong assumed the position of State Councilor, and Yan Jin Yong assumed the position of Vice Premier. Huang Xuncai is currently 51 years old and has worked in Singapore's defense, communication and news, culture, national development, education, finance and other departments. In 2022, he was elected as the new leader of the fourth generation leadership team of the ruling People's Action Party.
