As a pioneer of Sino French friendship, Alan Merier's father-in-law was the first to introduce Western automotive technology into China. Alan Merier's interaction with China began 46 years ago. In 1978, he boarded the only direct flight between China and France at that time, embarking on his first trip to China. He introduced human vaccines and veterinary vaccines to the Chinese scientific research community, and thus opened the prelude to friendly cooperation between Merie Company, Merie Foundation, and China.
