Its No.1 generator unit was successfully put into operation on November 25th last year, making it the first pumped storage unit to be put into operation in the northwest region of China. The underground power plant has a grand scale, with four pumped storage power generation units installed, a total weight of over 4000 tons, and pressure steel pipes welded with special steel exceeding 140 million tons. With the efforts of team members, Units 1 and 2 have achieved normal power generation. On April 23rd, Unit 3 successfully completed the dual condition grid connection test of pumped power generation, which is one step closer to the goal of all four units being connected to the grid for power generation by August this year. By adopting processes such as mechanical automatic welding and pre bending with a pipe bending machine, the utilization rate of steel plates has been increased from 70% to over 90%; When the generating unit operates at full load, the maximum swing of each bearing is 0.056 millimeters, which is better than the national standard of 0.2 millimeters. In recent years, they have closely cooperated with scientific research, design, and construction units to carry out joint research and development, and the technological innovation achievements they have obtained have provided valuable experience for the construction of similar power plants.
