The symposium commemorating the 120th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Ren Bishi was held on the 28th at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Secretariat, attended the symposium and delivered a speech. Before the meeting, leaders such as Cai Qi met with relatives of Comrade Ren Bishi. Comrade Ren Bishi is a great Marxist, an outstanding proletarian revolutionist, politician and organizer, an outstanding leader of the CPC and the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and an important member of the first generation of central collective leadership of the CPC with Comrade Mao Zedong at the core. Cai Qi reviewed Comrade Ren Bishi's life, achievements, and outstanding contributions in his speech. He said that Comrade Ren Bishi established the revolutionary ideal of saving the country and the people in his youth, always standing at the forefront of revolutionary struggle, and devoted his whole life to the independence of the Chinese nation and the liberation of the Chinese people. Comrade Ren Bishi is one of the main leaders of the Party during the new democratic revolution. His revolutionary career is closely linked with the establishment, development and expansion of the CPC and the whole history of the victory of China's new democratic revolution. Cai Qi pointed out that Comrade Ren Bishi bravely promoted theoretical exploration and made profound explanations on the issues related to the sinicization of Marxism; We attach great importance to the construction of the Party and have put forward many insightful views on maintaining and strengthening the Party's leadership; Having political foresight and conducting forward-looking thinking on leadership and economic construction work; Emphasis has been placed on cultivating new leadership methods and work styles, and unremitting efforts have been made to enrich and develop the Party's mass line. Comrade Ren Bishi's lofty spirit and moral character demonstrated in his lifelong struggle set a brilliant example for the whole party, was known as the "camel spirit" by everyone, and nourished and inspired generations of the CPC. Cai Qi pointed out that on the new journey, we should unite more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, follow the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, deeply understand the decisive significance of the "two establishment", strengthen the "four consciousness", firm the "four self-confidence", and achieve the "two maintenance", vigorously carry forward the glorious tradition and fine style of the Party, strengthen confidence, forge ahead, and work tirelessly to comprehensively promote the great cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation with Chinese path to modernization. Li Ganjie, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of the Organization Department of the Central Committee, presided over the symposium. He Weidong, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the symposium. At the symposium, Qu Qingshan, President of the Central Party History and Literature Research Institute, and Shen Xiaoming, Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, delivered speeches successively.
