According to data from 50 key online literature websites nationwide, the total number of works exceeds 30 million, with approximately 2 million new works added annually. The growth rate is slowing down, and the platform's emphasis on creative quality has increased. According to data from 50 key online literature platforms nationwide, the revenue scale of online literature in 2023 is approximately 34 billion yuan. The revenue growth of the online reading section of paid reading websites is sluggish, and websites are exploring new formats, such as short stories and fan services, entering a multi website commercial layout. In 2023, the integration of overseas dissemination of online literature has significantly strengthened. AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) technology has improved the efficiency of going abroad, expanded the dissemination radius, and Chinese online literature narrative techniques have been widely referenced by overseas online literature and micro dramas. As of the end of 2023, various overseas platforms have trained nearly one million local overseas authors, with "Generation Z" as the main contracted authors, creating over 1.5 million original overseas works. Overseas platforms learn from the operational model of Chinese online literature, initiate IP conversion and industry chain development of original content, and build a global IP ecosystem. According to Blue Book, in 2023, the team of online writers will further expand. According to data from 50 key online literature websites nationwide, nearly 2.5 million new registered authors were added throughout the year, a year-on-year increase of 10%, and 260000 new signed authors were added, a year-on-year increase of 17%.
