On April 24th, at the Qinzhou Port East Station located on the Beibu Gulf, a sea rail intermodal container train carrying goods such as UAE polyethylene and Brazilian pulp slowly departed. Soon, this train will arrive at the Tuanjie Village Station in Chongqing. "At the beginning of the train's operation, there were fewer trips and scattered goods, making it no busier than it is now." Watching the train go far, Liu Fuming, the operation manager of Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Intermodal Transport Development Co., Ltd., sighed. Liu Fuming is both a witness and a participant. He said that in the five years since the implementation of the overall plan for the Western Land Sea New Corridor, the number of train services has become increasingly dense, and the categories of goods have increased from dozens of ceramics, plates, etc. to over 1000 types of automotive parts, new energy materials, etc., achieving full coverage of services in western provinces. Qinzhou Port in Guangxi is a hub for land sea intermodal transportation in the western land sea new corridor, seamlessly connecting trains, cars, and ships. Made in China goes global here, and goods from around the world enter the Chinese market from here. At the Qinzhou Automated Container Terminal in the nearby Beibu Gulf Port, the back and forth suspension bridge accurately grasps cargo ship containers and places them on unmanned intelligent guided transport vehicles. In recent years, relying on intelligent, information-based, and unmanned technologies, terminals have accelerated the improvement of port infrastructure service capabilities and focused on improving the efficiency of land sea intermodal transportation. "Since last year, the railway central station and automated container terminals have promoted regional integration, established a joint scheduling mechanism, and achieved internal transshipment of sea rail intermodal transportation, with a 30% increase in transshipment efficiency. At the same time, new progress has been made in information and data interconnection, and data latency has been continuously reduced. In the first quarter of this year, the completed sea rail intermodal container volume increased by 273.5% year-on-year." said Zhu Guangyuan, Deputy Manager of the Process Planning Department of Shenggang Port Co., Ltd. in Qinzhou Free Trade Port Zone, Guangxi. Zhu Guangyuan introduced that in recent years, the port has continued to accelerate its opening up to the outside world and continuously activate new development momentum. Recently, six berths at the Beibu Gulf Port in Guangxi have been approved for official opening to the public. It is expected to bring in an annual cargo import and export throughput of over 20 million tons, providing solid support for promoting the construction of the Western Land Sea New Corridor and the Beibu Gulf International Gateway Port. The Western Land Sea New Corridor is not only a logistics channel, but also an economic corridor. With the increasing radiation capacity of the channel, more and more enterprises are investing and developing along the channel. At the Huayi Chemical New Materials Integration Project Base in Qinzhou Port Area of Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone, the third phase of high-end new material product projects encouraged by the state is accelerating construction. "The geographical advantage of Qinzhou is an important reason for enterprises to choose to settle here." Luo Mingqie, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangxi Huayi New Materials Co., Ltd., introduced that the geographical advantage helps enterprises fully utilize markets in South China, Southwest China, and Southeast Asia, and achieve integrated and comprehensive development of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. Overseas enterprises investing in China also share the development opportunities of new channels. Relying on a solid industrial foundation and excellent ports, the Minhe Grain and Oil Industry Base project in Malaysia started construction in the Qinzhou Port area of Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone at the end of last year. The project's settlement has brought new impetus to the extension and strengthening of the grain and oil industry in the area, as well as new market opportunities for the development of multinational enterprises. The coverage of the western land sea new channel is also our consumer market, and the future development prospects of the enterprise are very broad
