The two sides exchanged views on issues of common concern such as exchanges and cooperation between the two military theaters, international and regional security situations. During this period, the two sides signed the Framework Document on Maritime and Air Cooperation Dialogue between the Southern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army of China and the Pacific Ocean Region of the French Army, establishing a mechanism for cooperation dialogue between the two military theaters.
