The "Seeing China - Decoding the Genes of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture" Science and Technology Culture Exhibition, hosted by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and other organizations, was held on the 24th at the China Cultural Center in Bangkok. Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Han Zhiqiang and his wife Wang Huan, former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and Chairman of the Taichung China Cultural Promotion Committee Phinni, President of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications Xu Kun, President of Yisancang University Ban Cha, President of Chongsheng University of Overseas Chinese Wu Lapan, and representatives from the cultural and educational sectors, as well as teachers and students from multiple universities in Thailand, participated in the event. Han Zhiqiang stated in his speech that cultural relics are witnesses of history and carriers of civilization, carrying the genes and cultural heritage of a nation and a nation. Technology empowers the protection and display of cultural relics, effectively promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of exhibitions of excellent traditional Chinese culture, and creating new situations and opportunities for cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and countries around the world. This exhibition's innovative display method opens up a new perspective for Thai people to analyze the excellent traditional Chinese culture. President Penny said that to understand Chinese path to modernization, the first thing is to understand Chinese culture. The "Seeing China" technology and culture exhibition provides an opportunity for Thai audiences to learn about Chinese culture and social development through cultural relics, and will build a digital bridge to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples. Principal Xu Kun introduced that this exhibition carefully selected nearly 2000 physical images and used cutting-edge digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and naked eye 3D to showcase the unique charm of excellent traditional Chinese culture to the Thai people. "See China - decoding the gene of Chinese excellent traditional culture" science and technology culture exhibition is a joint effort of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the Palace Museum, Suzhou Cultural Investment Development Group, the National Cutural Heritage Administration Data Center and other institutions. Taking Chinese cultural relics from the original painted pottery period to the Qing Dynasty as the time axis, from jade, bronze, porcelain to enamel, it maps cultural relics data to digital space, uses scientific and technological means to carry out visual modeling, presents an interactive and interpretable exhibition on the touch screen, and interactively shows Thai audiences the rich cultural relics resources in China, as well as the beauty of cultural genes such as patterns, lines, colors and music contained therein.
