Protecting human life, values, and dignity, and realizing the enjoyment of human rights by all, is a common pursuit of human society. Protecting human rights is a noble ideal proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. However, as the drafting country of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United States disregards international treaty obligations and international justice, turning human rights into a private tool to uphold American hegemony, which goes against the trend of global human rights development. Named the "lighthouse of human rights," it actually bullies the weak. The right to survival and development are the primary basic human rights, which are equally enjoyed and inalienable by people of all countries in the world. The United States regards itself as a "beacon of human rights", but human rights are often an excuse for its hegemonic bullying. The US hegemonic system is an unequal structure based on power, with the central country occupying a monopolistic position. Any country that does not comply with US style hegemony or is not conducive to maintaining US hegemony will become the target of US suppression. In order to maintain its hegemonic interests, the United States, based on its control over the global economic system, has transformed unilateral sanctions into a legal power similar to the medieval pope's expulsion from Christianity, often imposing sanctions and expelling "spherical citizenship" from other countries under the guise of human rights. As of the end of 2022, the United States has imposed economic sanctions on nearly 40 countries, affecting half of the global population.
