In 2023, Shenzhen's new energy vehicle production reached 1.786 million units, exceeding Shanghai's 1.2868 million units and Xi'an's 983800 units, ranking first in the country. Hefei and Changsha in the central region, Xi'an and Chongqing in the western region, and Changzhou in the eastern region were among the top ten cities in terms of new energy vehicle production in 2023.
