On April 14th, the "Bright Moon Together: Cross Strait Poetry Recitation Concert" was held in Beijing, sponsored by the Poetry China Studio of China Education Television and co organized by Guangxi Normal University Press · Pure Pura. Poets from both sides of the Taiwan Strait pay tribute to the common historical and cultural traditions through recitation, singing, and other forms. On the spot of the activity, Lvdi, a famous poet from Taiwan, presented Gitimaga, a mainland poet, with the China (Taiwan) Literature and Art Association · Literature and Art Medal Poetry Lifetime Achievement Award. In his award speech, Lvdi said, "Mr. Jidimaga is one of the most representative and influential poets of contemporary China. His poetry has been translated into more than 40 languages since the 1990s, and more than 100 versions of translated poetry have been published in more than 50 countries. The overseas dissemination and influence of Jidimaga's poetry provide important basis and reference for understanding contemporary Chinese culture. Jidimaga not only allows the Yi people to express their own voice, but also sends out a voice unique to Chinese poets to the world from the perspective of the originality and exploration of modern poetry." In his acceptance speech, Jidimaga stated that poetry is the highest form of language, and it not only serves as the voice of a new language. Creation provides possibilities, and more importantly, what it contributes to humanity will always be the most fascinating part of different languages in the world. It is reported that the China (Taiwan) Literature and Art Association · Literature and Art Medal has been successfully held for 65 times, and famous poets Yu Guangzhong, Luo Fu, Zheng Chouyu, Xi Murong, Ya Xian, etc. have all won the lifetime achievement award of this medal poetry category. The organizer stated that this event has further strengthened exchanges and cooperation between the literary and artistic circles on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, enhanced understanding and friendship between the people on both sides, and helped promote the prosperity and development of Chinese culture.
