Recently, State Grid Information and Communication Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xintong Group") was awarded the Beidou Navigation Civil Separation Service Qualification Certificate, marking that Xintong Group has been authorized to provide unified Beidou Navigation civil services to power industry enterprises through Beidou-3 satellite navigation positioning, timing, and short message communication separation services. It is reported that in terms of electricity information collection, the application of Beidou short messages can achieve the return of electricity data in signal free areas, which reduces the comprehensive cost of satellite communication and fiber optic communication by 73.5% and 97.5%, respectively. In areas such as Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, and Xinjiang, where there are many areas without public networks, the Beidou Short Message Electricity Information Collection Equipment deployed by China Communications Corporation has effectively collected electricity meter data from over 1100 substations, enabling the transformation of electricity information collection from a few days to a few seconds, from manual processing to automated processing, and further improving the coverage of electricity information collection. In terms of disaster prevention and reduction of transmission lines, the application of Beidou high-precision positioning technology can monitor geological disasters, tower tilting and other data in real time, and timely issue warning information. At present, this technology has covered over 200 transmission lines in Sichuan, Hunan, Shaanxi, Chongqing and other places, significantly reducing the response time to abnormal situations and effectively assisting in geological disaster warning. It is reported that the Beidou Navigation Civil Sorting Service Qualification Certificate is the only certificate authorizing enterprises to carry out Beidou Navigation Civil Sorting Services. In recent years, China Telecom Group has accelerated the development of the power Beidou industry and built a precise positioning service network for the power Beidou based on more than 4100 power Beidou benchmark stations.
