Recently, the first batch of Fuxing FXN3B shunting locomotives developed by CRRC Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. were officially put into operation at Beijing Station and Beijing West Station. The locomotive is equipped with two power modes: diesel powered and battery powered. The first batch of Fuxing FXN3B shunting locomotives to be launched are painted with a green color as the main tone, highlighting their energy-saving, environmental protection, and comfortable characteristics. As the first batch of officially used "oil electric hybrid" new energy shunting locomotives in China's railways, the FXN3B shunting locomotive is equipped with a new generation 12V240H diesel engine independently developed by China. It optimizes and integrates high-pressure fuel electronic injection technology and high-efficiency high-pressure ratio supercharger, effectively improving the fuel economy and emission level of diesel engines, and significantly improving comprehensive performance indicators. It is reported that the batch of "Green" Fuxing FXN3B shunting locomotives are equipped with lithium titanate power batteries, which can meet the operational requirements of China's shunting locomotives for peak pushing, small operation, and grouping operations. The power battery comes with a management system and is equipped with a fire extinguishing device, which improves the safety performance of the locomotive. According to data, by using this power battery, the daily working time of diesel engines can be reduced by 75% -82%, and the comprehensive fuel consumption can be reduced by 25% -34%. It is reported that during the development process of this type of shunting locomotive, Dalian Weihong Labor Model Innovation Studio fully utilized its technical expertise to develop a high-speed intelligent control system with multi network integration. An intelligent monitoring system with diesel engine and power battery health diagnosis as the core was built to ensure the health status of the locomotive's core components and the safe operation of the entire vehicle. "In order to increase the proportion of universal parts, the locomotive design is based on the concept of product platformization and modularization, unifying important systems and key component interfaces, and achieving simplification and universal interchangeability of locomotive components." Dong Fei, the overall designer of CRRC Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., introduced that the locomotive's power room adopts a cover type structure, with skylights on both sides of the top cover, which is more convenient for locomotive assembly and diesel power unit maintenance. Consumables such as the free end water pump and pipeline maintenance of the diesel engine, and the oil filter element are "detachable and interchangeable". The locomotive driver's cab adopts an independent suspended closed structure, which increases the indoor working space and reduces indoor noise and vibration. In addition, the locomotive is equipped with a collision resistant structure, and the driver's cab is also safer and more stable. In order to ensure the operation and maintenance of the first batch of Fuxing FXN3B shunting locomotives, CRRC Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. has specially formulated a special service guarantee plan and formed an integrated service team composed of technical research and development, after-sales service, production debugging and other departments to ensure the safety of the entire process from product preparation to online use of the "green" Fuxing FXN3B shunting locomotives.
