2024-04-12

On the 11th, accompanied by the "Imperial Concubine" outside the gate of Wangjing, the second Shangsi Flower God Festival, guided by Shaanxi Tourism Group Co., Ltd. and hosted by Shaanxi Huaqing Palace Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd., officially kicked off with the ceremony of the Tang Dynasty, welcoming 5 Chinese style recommenders, 12 flower gods, 12 flower scouts, and many Hanfu enthusiasts and tourists. It is understood that this year's Huaqing Palace Flower God Festival not only highlights the theme of praying for blessings and spring outings during the Shangsi Festival, but also combines with the millennium old cultural relics of Huaqing Palace, allowing tourists to travel back to the palace and enjoy the rich Tang culture of the Shangsi Festival amidst the spring and Tang winds. On the first day of the event, 24 Chinese style experts transformed into flower gods and flower explorers performed a Tang Dynasty Hanfu walk show, interacted with tourists, and presented cultural and creative gifts. Many tourists dressed in traditional Chinese clothing go on spring outings with the flower gods to enjoy the garden. At the same time, at the Lotus Terrace Hot Spring Pool at the Yutang Site, the "noble consort" dipped willow branches in dew, lightly tapped the flower gods, and used water to dispel disasters. In order to recreate the Tang Dynasty's Shangsi Festival and enhance the experience, the Huaqing Palace Scenic Area has also carefully prepared a variety of interactive experience activities, such as the Flower God Parade, Flash Poetry, Dance Transmission of Ancient Rhyme, and Imperial Concubine Parade, in addition to the park. The "Noble Consort" travels with the various Flower Gods, presenting a new tourism experience for citizens and tourists, combining tradition and trend, culture and consumption. It is reported that during the second Shangsi Flower God Festival from April 11th to April 21st, tourists wearing Chinese clothing can enjoy free tours of the Huaqing Palace, appreciate the magnificent scenery of Shangsi Flower God in spring, and experience the brilliance and fashion of traditional Chinese culture. "When I heard about the free admission event for wearing Hanfu, I immediately made an appointment to participate in such a lively spring event. Huaqing Palace dotes on us Chinese style enthusiasts too much." A tourist dressed as a scholar said, "Seeing so many beautiful and handsome men playing in Hanfu in the palace, interacting and taking photos with their favorite influencers, I am very happy! I am also looking forward to meeting 'Bai Juyi' and answering questions about poetry together!" As a Tang Dynasty palace and royal garden with profound historical and cultural heritage, Huaqing Palace constantly accepts new things while maintaining cultural confidence, presenting traditional customs of the Shangsi Festival in the form that young people like today, allowing citizens and tourists to feel relaxed and comfortable. "Appreciate the contemporary trend rooted in tradition in the atmosphere of meaning. In response to this, Huaqing Palace held a costume party and also launched flash performances of Xiaohua Xian's Shangsi poetry and traditional Chinese style costumes, allowing tourists to travel through the prosperous Tang Dynasty, collide with the beautiful scenery of spring, cultural traditions, and youthful passion, and jointly outline the Tang Palace's aesthetic picture of "heart moving with the scenery, people swimming in the painting". It is understood that the Huaqing Palace Scenic Area has always adhered to the concept of shaping tourism through culture and highlighting culture through tourism. By fully leveraging the advantages of scenic resources, it empowers tourists with the "Tang Palace culture" and promotes high-quality development of culture and tourism. In the future, we will continue to rely on rich historical and cultural resources to play our role as inheritors and disseminators of Tang Palace culture, bringing more exciting cultural activities to tourists and revitalizing traditional culture.
