The first plenary session of the inter ministerial joint meeting on the construction of a strong intellectual property country was recently held in Beijing. The meeting conscientiously implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, summarized the work for 2023, and deployed key tasks for the next stage. The convener of the joint meeting and the heads of each member unit attended the meeting. All member units of the joint meeting should effectively play the role of the joint meeting mechanism, work together to promote the construction of a strong intellectual property country, and provide strong support for building a new development pattern and promoting high-quality development. The meeting deployed key tasks for building a strong intellectual property country in 2024. One is to strengthen the macro coordination of intellectual property rights and enhance collaboration and cooperation among departments. The second is to strengthen the legal protection of intellectual property rights and improve relevant legal policies.
