At the foot of Datang Mountain in Beijing, at the Hero Square of the Aviation Museum of China, the sculpture of "Blue Sky Soul" is solemn and dignified, and the torch of "Victory Fire" burns brightly. On the morning of April 1st, in front of the Hero Square Air Force Martyrs Wall, representatives of the Air Force officers and soldiers lined up in unison to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the People's Air Force. The heroic names of the martyrs who sacrificed heroically for the cause of the People's Air Force are engraved on the wall. Their heroic names are forever recorded in the history of our country's airspace and are worth remembering forever. Flowers offer heroes, deep emotions send condolences. During the event, the officers and soldiers slowly walked around the heroic wall and presented flowers in order to express their deep remembrance and high respect for the martyrs. At the event, there are several special guests. They are Sun Zengmin, daughter of martyr Sun Shenglu, Cao Xinyu, brother of martyr Cao Xinguang, and Li Biao, hometown representative of martyr Liu Yun. Sun Zengmin came with his grandson. "I feel honored and touched to be here to commemorate my father. Bringing my grandson together is a special way to express our grief and inherit our spirit," said Sun Zengmin. At the check-in area on the side of the Martyrs Wall, representatives of officers, soldiers, and their families received exclusive bookmarks with the Martyrs Wall seal and the Air Force's red landmark emblem. "I hope to leave a deeper imprint on the Red Landmark of the Air Force in the hearts of officers and soldiers by stamping, checking in, and receiving characteristic cultural and creative products," said the relevant person in charge of the Air Force Political Work Department. "Participating in this event has further made me realize that the glorious history of the People's Air Force is a struggle history from scratch, from weakness to strength, a battle history of eagles fighting against the sky and daring to fight for victory, and a heroic history of blood sprinkling into the blue sky and moving to tears," said Shi Taiyuan, a cadre of the Air Force. On the day of the event, representatives of officers, soldiers, and families of martyrs also visited the theme exhibition of achievements in air force construction. After the visit, Sun Zengmin and Cao Xinyu respectively donated the relics of the martyrs to the China Aviation Museum. Cao Xinyu said, "Collecting relics at home can inspire future generations, and donating them to museums can have a more profound educational effect." It is reported that organizing air force officers, soldiers, and the general public to pay a visit to the Air Force Martyrs' Wall before the Qingming Festival is the second stop of this year's Air Force "Red Landmark Tour" theme activity, and we will also go to other red landmarks to carry out theme activities in the future.
