On the 1st, the reporter learned from the proposal delegation meeting of the 14th National People's Congress Second Session held in Beijing that during this year's 14th National People's Congress Second Session, National People's Congress deputies put forward 9235 suggestions, criticisms, and opinions on various aspects of work. The Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, together with relevant parties, carefully sorted out and comprehensively analyzed the suggestions of the representatives, and entrusted them to 213 handling units in accordance with the law. Over the past year, representatives of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress have proposed high-quality and efficient handling of the integrated promotion. Through joint efforts from all parties, all 8314 suggestions put forward by representatives during the first session of the 14th National People's Congress have been processed, and the representatives are generally satisfied with the results of the processing. Each undertaking unit has innovated its work methods and strengthened communication with representatives throughout the entire process, promoting the resolution of a series of issues related to reform and development as well as the urgent and difficult concerns of the people. During this year's conference, representatives put forward opinions and suggestions closely around the overall work of the Party and the state. Representatives have paid more attention to accelerating the formation of new productive forces, cultivating emerging and future industries, optimizing the business environment, improving the digital governance system, deepening the comprehensive reform of the education, technology and talent system, promoting the revitalization of the seed industry, and improving the elderly care service network. These suggestions are closely related to the current key work of economic and social development, addressing the shortcomings and weaknesses that urgently need to be addressed, and are related to the overall reform, development, and stability. They fully reflect the duty and responsibility of National People's Congress representatives in the new era to keep up with the pace of the Party Central Committee and actively serve the overall situation. Key supervisory suggestions are institutional arrangements to promote the implementation of representative suggestions, and are an important means of leveraging the effectiveness of representative suggestions in serving the overall situation. This session of the Standing Committee further strengthens the key supervision work. At present, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress has preliminarily determined 20 key supervision suggestions.
