During my stay in Beijing, in addition to visiting and exchanging ideas with Peking University, I will also visit the Badaling Great Wall, Beijing Palace Museum, China Academy of Space Technology, Lugou Bridge, and the Chinese People's Anti Japanese War Memorial Hall. In addition, I will also visit the "Ice Ribbon" (National Speed Skating Center) and "Bird's Nest" (National Sports Stadium) in the Olympic Park. Xiao Xucen stated that the most important aspect of this trip is to continue the exchange of young students between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait that began last year, to ease the hostility between the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and to avoid future conflicts. Ma Ying jeou hopes to promote more exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, promote the well-being of the people on both sides, and stabilize cross-strait relations and regional tensions through this visit to the mainland.
