From March 26th to March 28th, the Ministry of Justice and the National Office for Legal Education held a national demonstration training course on "legal literacy" in Tengtou Village, Fenghua District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Outside of classroom teaching, 10 representatives of "legal experts" stepped onto the podium to engage in in-depth case studies. They organized students to visit Tengtou Village, Maoxin Village, and Zoumatang Village in Ningbo City for observation and learning, using vivid stories of rural governance to tell practical and effective experiences. The trainees stated that the three-day learning and exchange, which includes both in-depth theoretical lectures and sufficient business exchanges, has strong guidance for focusing on the urgent and difficult issues of grassroots people, playing the role of a "legal understanding person" as a social and public opinion information officer, policy and legal propaganda officer, conflict resolution officer, and legal practice guide, and promoting grassroots governance work. Leaders from various regions stated that the good experience and practices of this training course have provided a demonstration for the hierarchical implementation of "legal understanding personnel" training. It is reported that 120 people from 15 provinces (regions, cities) including Inner Mongolia and Jiangsu, as well as the "Legal Understanding Personnel" and the Director of the Legal Education and Governance Department of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, participated in the training. Officials from the Bureau of Legal Education and Governance of the Ministry of Justice, the Department of Justice of Zhejiang Province, the Judicial Bureau of Ningbo City, and Fenghua District attended the opening and closing ceremonies of the class.
