On the 26th, Li Hongzhong, member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, attended a friendly exchange event between China and North Korea in Beijing. The Chinese side is willing to work with the North Korean side to take the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and North Korea and the "China North Korea Friendship Year" as an opportunity to implement the important consensus of the highest leaders of the two parties and countries, strengthen inter party exchanges and cooperation in various fields, benefit the people of both countries, and make positive contributions to regional peace, stability, development and prosperity. North Korean Ambassador to China, Lee Long nan, stated that the North Korean side highly values the traditional friendship between North Korea and China, and is willing to work together with China to promote greater development in the relationship between the two parties and the two countries.
