Zhaojiashihe Village, located in the northwest of Rizhao, Shandong, is a traditional ancient village that used to suffer from the lack of resources and branding, and has long been in a low-end and homogeneous competition for rural tourism. 11 professional teachers from Rizhao Vocational and Technical College led 58 students to conduct a village survey during the holiday, and stayed in the village for three consecutive years. They helped the village establish the idea of building a traditional rural agricultural and cultural tourism complex in Weiheyuan, excavated and applied for three municipal intangible cultural heritage, organized and planned four annual festivals, and developed two rural cultural experience tours, turning traditional villages into demonstration villages for rural revitalization. In recent years, Rizhao Vocational and Technical College has continuously explored practical paths to assist rural revitalization, resonating with local development and playing a unique advantage in empowering rural revitalization through the advantages of vocational education. In order to enhance the soft power of rural culture, the Tourism Management major of Rizhao Vocational and Technical College has established the "408 Township Workshop". Currently, it has assisted in the application of more than 10 national level traditional villages, national key rural tourism villages, and traditional villages in Shandong Province, and has created 5 3A level scenic spots. How to solve the problem of rural labor lacking professional skills? The school closely follows the development strategy of Rizhao City, closely connects with the rural revitalization industries such as rural tourism, rural e-commerce, and seafood processing, as well as the needs of grassroots party building work in rural areas. It has established nearly 26 rural revitalization related specialties such as tourism management, e-commerce, aquaculture, and party affairs, dispatched excellent teachers, provided high-quality teaching resources, and trained rural revitalization talents at the doorstep of the local community in various forms.
