The first pilot project application of domestic green matte tower new technology has been completed

On the 24th, it was learned from the Institute of Transmission and Transformation Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Electric Power Sciences that the new green matte tower technology developed by the institute has completed the first pilot project application in China in the Hubei Enshi Hefeng Xuan'en 220 kV transmission line project. At present, overhead transmission lines of different voltage levels in China will pass through forest covered scenic spots. In order to improve the organic integration of transmission lines and natural green, green matte technology is applied to transmission line towers. The towers are overall green and integrated with the mountainous environment. According to Huang Yao, a professor level senior engineer at the Institute of Power Transmission and Transformation Engineering, China Academy of Electric Power Sciences, the green matte process refers to the process of adjusting the composition, temperature and time of the galvanizing solution, and passivation process during the galvanizing process of the tower, forming a green passivation film of about 20 microns on the surface of the zinc layer. At the same time, the surface glossiness is reduced to below 10 gloss units, resulting in a green matte effect. "The glossiness detection values of newly built Yaguang towers in the Hefeng Xuan'en area are all less than 5 gloss units. The coating adhesion has been verified through drop hammer tests, and the Yaguang effect is excellent. Compared with the traditional method of applying green paint, the cost is significantly reduced by more than 70%, and the durability is significantly improved." Huang Yao said that the first pilot application of green Yaguang technology promotes the organic integration of transmission lines and the natural environment, improves the diversity and technical level of anti-corrosion of transmission lines.
