On the 21st, Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met with a delegation led by Kim Sung nam, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee and Minister of International Affairs, and a delegation of Conservative and Labour Party members who came to China to attend the 12th China UK Political Party Dialogue. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the "China North Korea Friendship Year". China is willing to work with North Korea to transform the important consensus of the highest leaders of the two parties and countries into practical actions to promote China North Korea friendship, deepen unity and cooperation, strengthen strategic communication, and jointly create a peaceful and stable external environment. The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is willing to make positive contributions to the development of China North Korea relations. I believe that the "Year of Friendship between North Korea and China" will promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries, and promote greater development in the socialist cause of the two countries. When meeting with the British bipartisan parliamentary delegation, Wang Huning said that China is comprehensively promoting Chinese path to modernization with high-quality development, and China attaches great importance to China UK relations. We welcome British companies to continue investing in China and sharing development opportunities. The CPC is willing to continue to maintain various forms of exchanges with the British Conservative Party, the Labor Party and other parties, constantly enhance understanding, narrow differences, and create a good political atmosphere for the development of bilateral relations. The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is willing to make positive contributions to this end. Former Chief Cabinet Secretary and President of the UK China Association, Liedington, and others have stated that this visit has increased our understanding of China's development and deepened our understanding of opportunities for cooperation between the UK and China.
