The European Defense Industry Strategy outlines cooperation, investment and financing in the defense sector, measures to safeguard key supply chains, and changes in loan policies of the European Investment Bank. The European Commission will establish a new Defense Industry Readiness Committee, whose main function is to coordinate investment and financing matters and promote defense cooperation among European countries. In terms of defense capabilities, the European military industrial complex will produce ammunition and drones on a large scale, strengthen combat capabilities in the network and space fields, and focus on supporting projects such as the "network shield", the European integrated air defense and missile defense system, and the space threat sensing system. The EU will also establish a key investment list, among which the laser weapon project will select European Missile Group, Italian company Leonardo, and British company Quinetic; Potential partners in electronic warfare and anti unmanned technology include Deir from Germany and Indra Systems from Spain. According to the draft plan, EU countries will purchase the necessary equipment and technology within the framework of the European Defense Fund, with the aim of achieving stable operations and rapid deployment of rapid response forces by 2025, significantly enhancing strategic transportation, force protection, network defense, satellite communication, and intelligence reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities. According to the draft plan, the EU and NATO will adhere to the principle of building a single force to ensure synergy and complementarity in the field of defense.
