According to the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism on the 5th, the selection process for the Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Base (2024-2026), which has lasted for 5 months, has recently come to an end. 154 schools and enterprises and institutions in the city have been selected, expanding channels and building platforms for all sectors of society to participate in the protection of Guangzhou's intangible cultural heritage. Teachers and students of Zhuliao Second Primary School in Baiyun District, Guangzhou City practice Hongquan. The scope of intangible cultural heritage projects covered by the selected units is very wide, covering 54 representative categories of intangible cultural heritage projects at or above the city level, such as Cantonese opera, Guqin art (Lingnan style), Guangcai, gray sculpture, Guangzhou olive carving, and Xianshui song. Among them, more than 10 units were selected for projects such as Guangcai, Guangdong Xingshi, and Guangxiu, reflecting a new situation of a hundred flowers blooming and jointly building and inheriting. According to the introduction, a total of 110 schools were selected, accounting for more than 70% of the total, including 4 universities, 14 vocational colleges, 23 middle schools, 59 primary schools, 8 kindergartens, and 2 special education schools. The geographical distribution covers all districts of Guangzhou, and the education level covers all age groups, which is a vivid practice of "intangible cultural heritage entering the campus". Guangzhou Panyu Yuyin Mountain House launched a gray plastic intangible cultural heritage classroom. In addition, the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism has provided pictures. The selected units include the Guangzhou Sports Culture Museum, which explores the deep integration of "sports culture+intangible cultural heritage", the Yuyin Mountain House in Panyu, which explores the integrated development of "tourism+intangible cultural heritage", educational technology companies that explore "technology+intangible cultural heritage", as well as various associations, inheritor studios, cultural dissemination companies, etc. According to the introduction, the selected units will fully leverage their own advantages, carry out unique intangible cultural heritage activities in Guangzhou through exhibitions, teaching, dissemination, lectures, training, research, seminars, exchanges, and other means, promote the revitalization and utilization of Guangzhou's intangible cultural heritage projects and the integrated development of various industries through "intangible cultural heritage+", and cultivate a soil for the inheritance of public participation.
