On the afternoon of the 5th, Li Qiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Premier of the State Council, came to his Yunnan delegation to review the government work report with the representatives. Representatives such as Su Yongzhong, Xu Ance, and Li Wenhui spoke successively, while Li Qiang listened and took notes, occasionally exchanging and discussing with everyone. We should adhere to the general tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability, fully, accurately and comprehensively implement the new development concept, strengthen confidence and work hard, seize all favorable opportunities and take advantage of all favorable conditions, continue to promote the effective improvement of the economy in quality and reasonable growth in quantity, and comprehensively promote the great cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation with Chinese path to modernization. We should focus on the development of characteristic and advantageous industries, starting from the positioning of the main functions, adhere to adapting measures to local conditions and promoting our strengths, and vigorously develop advanced manufacturing, plateau characteristic agriculture, and tourism. We must play a proactive role in opening up to the outside world, continue to strengthen infrastructure construction, continuously optimize the business environment, accelerate the construction of a radiation center for South Asia and Southeast Asia, and make greater efforts to undertake industrial transfer in the eastern region, better transforming our geographical advantages into new advantages in opening up to the outside world. We must solidly consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, and on the basis of firmly holding the bottom line of preventing large-scale poverty return, coordinate various policies such as rural revitalization and border prosperity, increase vocational education and skill training, and do everything possible to promote income growth and prosperity for urban and rural residents, continuously consolidating and developing a good situation of national unity, social stability, and border peace.
