We usually talk about hard power and soft power. Our current hard power refers to the level of economic development, scientific and technological progress, and national defense capacity building, which can be seen for all. However, there is still a lot of work to be done in building soft power. What exactly should we do? I want to give full play to the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of all aspects, go out, invite in, and communicate face to face, honestly and openly about our efforts for the common development of mankind, about our extensive and profound Chinese civilization, about the achievements of the socialist system and unique governance model, and about the advanced ideas and successful experience of the CPC as the largest ruling party in the world. Youth is the hope for the future for a country, a nation, and the entire world. Therefore, to do a good job in youth work now, we need to invest more energy and effort. Of course, everyone has different identities and different jobs. They should participate in the construction of the "the Belt and Road" selectively and purposefully according to their own work characteristics and professional characteristics. Some of the Chinese youth going out work in foreign enterprises and some work in institutions stationed abroad. To some extent, they represent the image of Chinese youth, or even the image of our country and nation. They are more responsible and more obligated to actively participate in the "the Belt and Road" project and actively participate in our friendly exchanges and cooperation with youth from all over the world. Some young people, as volunteers, live and work abroad, spread Chinese culture, participate in poverty alleviation work, and even participate in medical and health care. With their unique experiences and ways, they silently cultivate and contribute to the development of friendly relations between the Chinese people and people around the world. Whether in the "the Belt and Road" international cooperation or in the process of modernization of our whole country, young people should be said to have great potential and should also make great achievements.
