The "Zhan New Era - Inheritance Exhibition of Craftsmanship in Craftsmanship" was held on the 27th at the Fujian Strait Folk Art Museum. This exhibition showcases a total of 25 artists and approximately 60 pieces of pottery construction works, all from industry representatives. Jianzhan is one of the famous ceramics of the Song Dynasty, using the unique high-speed iron clay and natural glaze ore from Jianyang, Fujian as raw materials. After high-temperature firing, it shows different patterns and colors. The base material is thick and hard, the glaze water is cyan black and plump, and the texture is diverse. It is the pinnacle of ancient Chinese black porcelain. Through the inheritance and promotion of contemporary ceramic artists, Jianzhan has shown a new charm. In the exhibition hall, the exhibited works have a variety of shapes and glaze colors. Some of the works by the Xu family, such as "Misty Rain," reveal delicate veins in the black glaze of the jade pot and spring bottle, like the fine and soft hair of a rabbit; Xu Wei's "Partridge Spot Pie Mouth Cup" has unique patterns, like spots on the feathers of a partridge's chest, with natural color transitions and fusion; Zhou Qiwei's work "Black Gold Beauty Shoulder" has a beautiful shape, smooth and transparent, and the deep colors and dull luster present a unique aesthetic concept; Zhang Tongliang's work "Black Bottom with Small Oil Droplets" has a strong glaze color, with oil droplet spots covering the entire body of the objects. The patterns are round and the density is uniform... On the basis of inheriting traditional techniques, the participating artists constantly innovate in firing techniques, vessel shapes, and glaze colors, combining artistry and practicality in flowers, ornaments, daily utensils, and other aspects, attracting audiences to come and admire. Huang Wenming, the director of the Fujian Strait Folk Art Museum, said that through this exhibition, we hope to allow more people to appreciate the unique charm of Jianzhan art and the unique craftsmanship behind the vessels. At the opening ceremony, the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage showcased the tea making and clay casting techniques of the Song Dynasty in Jianyang, attracting audiences to watch. They continued to explore, support, and promote the creative transformation and innovative inheritance of traditional craftsmanship, fully leveraging the unique resource advantages of Fujian, and better showcased the local characteristics of the Eight Fujian region.
