The first "Brilliant China Tour" travel group to China recently departed from Los Angeles, USA, and will travel to Chinese cities such as Beijing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Hangzhou, and Shanghai during a 10 day journey. "Brilliant China Tour" is an innovative tourism product jointly launched by Air China, the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China. The 11 members of the first tour group come from various parts of the United States and are family and friends who make annual trips together. Katherine Vitierlo, a member of the delegation and teacher from Orlando, Florida, told reporters at the airport that they had originally planned to travel to China many years ago, but were unable to do so due to the COVID-19. Just in time for this "brilliant China tour" activity, they decided to restart the plan.
