Wang Chen emphasized that in order to do a good job in all aspects of the work of the China Law Society in 2024, we must adhere to the comprehensive leadership of the Party, firmly support the "two consolidations", resolutely uphold the "two safeguards", and firmly follow the path of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics. We should conscientiously implement the overall plan for Chinese path to modernization made at the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, strengthen research on the basic theory of law and the practice of comprehensively governing the country according to law, vigorously promote the socialist culture of the rule of law, and better serve scientific decision-making and the practice of the rule of law. We must adhere to and develop the "Fengqiao Experience" of the new era, fully leverage the role of grassroots service stations and chief legal consulting experts of the Law Society, and serve the construction of a higher level of safe and rule of law China. We need to strengthen foreign-related legal work, deepen legal exchanges and cooperation with foreign countries, and increase the training of foreign-related legal talents. We must continue to strengthen the self construction of the Law Society and ensure that it better plays the role of a "think tank," "think tank," and "talent pool" in comprehensively governing the country according to law on the new journey.
