This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, which is of great significance in carrying forward the past and opening up the future. Both sides should take this as an opportunity to summarize the extraordinary history of the two countries, promote beneficial experiences and successful practices, and jointly plan the next 60 years of Sino French relations. We are willing to work with the French side, uphold our original intention, maintain composure, deepen cooperation, and open up the future. The French side has always adhered to the One China policy, and this position is clear and explicit. Faced with global challenges, France adheres to strategic autonomy and is willing to strengthen strategic cooperation with China to jointly maintain peace and stability. Wang Yi stated that the current international situation is characterized by frequent chaos, complex and difficult to solve hot issues, slow global economic recovery, and various challenges. China and France are both independent and independent powers, permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, and important forces in a multipolar world. They should strengthen strategic coordination, deepen strategic cooperation, and make contributions to promoting global peace and stability.
