Employment is the greatest livelihood. This year, China's employment work is facing multiple challenges, including an increase in economic uncertainty, weak social expectations, persistent pressure on the total employment volume, and the continued existence of structural contradictions. The Central Economic Work Conference called for more emphasis on the priority orientation of employment, accelerating the improvement of the mechanism for promoting high-quality and full employment, and strengthening the stability of the employment trend. Highlighting the priority orientation of employment concerns the most direct and practical interests of the people. Absorbing more people for employment is not only the foundation of people's peace of mind and social stability, but also the bridge and link connecting production, exchange, distribution, and consumption in the economic cycle. At present, China is in a critical stage of promoting high-quality development, and there is an urgent need to expand new employment opportunities such as digital economy, green economy, and silver economy. By promoting high-quality and full employment, we can cultivate the potential and momentum of economic development and form a virtuous cycle of economic development and employment. We should pay attention to the continuity of policies. Last year, the government timely adjusted and optimized policies to stabilize employment, continuously implemented policies to stabilize job returns, continued to expand the absorption of employment subsidies, and timely restarted job expansion subsidies, forming a systematic policy support system for stabilizing and expanding employment, injecting strong impetus into the accelerated release of policy dividends. It is necessary to further improve the support system for fiscal subsidies, tax incentives, financial support, and social security this year. Simultaneously evaluate the employment impact when promoting the introduction of non economic policies, and enhance the driving force of economic and social development employment. We should increase support for private enterprises and small and micro enterprises with strong employment capacity. Actively leverage the driving role of entrepreneurship, form a chain service system such as guaranteed loans, tax and fee reductions, and venue arrangements, and highlight policy coordination. We need to do a good job in serving key groups. Expand employment opportunities for different groups such as college graduates and migrant workers, hold various forms of job fairs, deepen labor cooperation, and improve the employment assistance system. By strengthening digital empowerment and grassroots governance, we provide more flexible employment services and smooth employment channels for key groups. At present, the technology of matching supply and demand in the human resources market cannot simultaneously adapt to the needs of the digital age. We need to innovate our gameplay to avoid inefficiencies caused by mismatched information. Provide diversified and personalized services based on the quality of workers, employment needs, and job differences. The protection of the rights and interests of workers should be given a more important position. In recent years, false and fraudulent recruitment practices have occurred frequently, and disputes over labor standards such as working hours, rest and vacation have increased. How to resolve both the legal and psychological issues of labor disputes requires relevant departments to adapt to the new changes and trends in employment, make great efforts to improve labor laws and regulations, strengthen employment guidance for employers, and enhance the level of protection of workers' rights and interests.
