At the invitation of the French Constitutional Commission, from February 5th to February 9th, Yang Linping, a second level Grand Justice and Vice President of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China, was commissioned by Zhang Jun, Chief Justice and President of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China. She led a delegation to participate in the "Justice, Future Generations, and Environment" international seminar organized by the French Constitutional Commission, which was attended by more than 50 countries, regions, and international organizations. She also gave a presentation on "China's Experience in Environmental Resource Trials" Speak. The attending parties had in-depth exchanges on three topics: "Access to justice for future generations", "Legal basis of intergenerational justice", and "Enforceability of legal concepts for future generations". They believed that the judiciary will play an increasingly important and positive role in the construction of international environmental rule of law, and should work together to address the global environmental crisis and build a beautiful home on Earth. Prior to the meeting, Yang Linping held talks with Laurent Fabius, Chairman of the French Constitutional Commission, and Yves Gounan, Vice President of the French Supreme Administrative Court. She stated that on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, the Supreme People's Court of China, the French Constitutional Commission, and the French Supreme Administrative Court should continue to strengthen communication and cooperation, and jointly play an important role in protecting the ecological environment.
