On the 17th, it was learned from China Eastern Airlines that at 1:49 local time on February 17th, the domestically produced large passenger aircraft C919 painted by China Eastern Airlines had a direct flight of nearly 6 hours and about 4200 kilometers, and successfully arrived at Changi International Airport in Singapore, preparing to participate in the 2024 Singapore Air Show to be held in Singapore from February 20th to February 25th. This C919 aircraft is the world's first domestically produced large passenger aircraft to be put into commercial operation received by China Eastern Airlines. It has previously been used on China Eastern Airlines' Shanghai to Chengdu and Beijing routes and was scheduled for MU299 transfer flight on February 16th Beijing time. It departed from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport at 20:04 to Singapore. During the Singapore Airshow, five domestically produced commercial aircraft produced by COMAC, including the C919 aircraft painted by China Eastern Airlines, will meet with the public for ground demonstrations and demonstration flights.
