Prosecutors come to give lectures, not only bringing fresh air to law classes, but also opening a window for students to glimpse the practice of the rule of law! '... On the eve of winter vacation, the Supreme People's Procuratorate's' Prosecutorial Practice Experts on Campus' activity also received its first' transcript '. Since the launch of the activity in October 2023, the Supreme People's Procuratorate has organized 40 prosecutors to give lectures 51 times in universities such as Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Central University for Nationalities, East China University of Political Science and Law, Nanjing University, Zhejiang University, Central South University of Economics and Law, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Northwest University of Political Science and Law, etc., and has trained more than 6000 students.". Recently, this activity was rated as one of the top ten major events in legal education in 2023 by Democracy and Legal Weekly, and was selected as one of the top ten prosecutorial news in 2023. In February 2023, the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the "Opinions on Strengthening Legal Education and Theoretical Research in the New Era", requiring the rule of law department to increase support for law schools and actively provide high-quality practical teaching resources. The Supreme People's Procuratorate immediately summarized the experience of past procuratorial practice experts teaching in universities, studied further implementation measures, and the following month, coordinated with universities such as Renmin University of China to prepare the first batch of procuratorial practice teachers to enter the campus. Out of the 174 qualified teachers and 325 courses initially recommended by 30 provincial procuratorates, 106 prosecutors and 180 courses were selected by the highest prosecutor's office for menu based selection in various universities. These "procuratorial masters" come from national procuratorial experts, teachers of national procuratorial education and training high-quality courses, western tour lecturers, and talent pools in various business lines. The courses cover various business lines of the "Four Great Prosecutors". As an experienced collaborator with the procuratorial organs, Han Qiang, Vice President of East China University of Political Science and Law, introduced the good foundation of cooperation between the university and the procuratorial organs, such as the 7-year undergraduate legal assistant program, where 260 students interned at the procuratorial organs. "The entry of prosecutorial practice experts into the campus can help students expand their thinking from the perspective of prosecutors, and make up for the shortcomings in cultivating practical abilities of talents in universities." "The activity has a wide audience, covering undergraduate and graduate levels, high participation of teachers and students, and good teaching results."
